Arizona
Arizona is first. It is not open.
We are not taking cases in Arizona yet. This page is here so you can see where we intend to start, and so we do not pretend a state is open when the rulepack for it is still a draft.
We are not taking cases yet. Arizona and North Carolina are first. We will not open in a state until a lawyer licensed there has reviewed a complete filing packet we produced, because the alternative is finding out we were wrong using somebody’s actual estate. Ask us to write when that changes.
Why Arizona is early
- Arizona lets a technology company own a law firm, under a license most states still forbid. That is a structural fact about the state, not a claim about our license — we have not applied yet.
- The state has a Certified Legal Document Preparer regime, which is a defined way for non-lawyers to prepare court papers under rules, rather than pretending the distinction does not exist.
- Informal probate is the default when nobody is fighting. That is the work we are built for.
A lawyer licensed in Arizona will review a complete packet we produced before anyone's estate goes through this system. Until that happens, there is nothing to buy.
We do not publish filing fees, small-estate dollar thresholds, or county processing times on this site until a named person has verified them against the current statute and the clerk. A wrong number on a public page is how families miss a deadline.
